PartiGift is a consumer-facing occasion brand operated by Gift Round Limited and powered by GiftRound. Gift Round Limited is registered in Scotland (company number SC515352), registered office 49 Castle View Drive, Bridge of Allan, Stirling, FK9 4BD. GiftRound is the collection platform that creates, hosts and redeems every collection started through PartiGift.

Gift Round Limited is the controller responsible for personal data processed through PartiGift and through the GiftRound collection that follows, because the same company operates both. We comply with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What we collect

On this website: nothing you have to type. We don't ask for children's names, dates of birth or party details here, and there is no sign-up form.

When a parent creates a collection: the organising parent's name and email address, the birthday child's first name and age, a party or closing date, and anything else the parent chooses to add.

Organiser details: account details, verification information where required, and the details needed to deliver the gift card.

Contributor details: the name shown, email address where given, contribution amount and any birthday message left for the child.

Payment and transaction data: amounts, dates, references and payment outcomes. Full card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, general location, pages viewed and links clicked.

Support messages: emails you send us and our replies.

3. Children's information

The service is for adults. A collection is created and managed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, and children do not hold accounts or make or receive payments.

We ask for as little about the birthday child as possible: a first name and age is enough to make the collection make sense to guests. We don't ask for a surname, address, school, date of birth or a photo of the child, and we recommend parents don't add them. Because a collection is private and unlisted, what a parent does add is only visible to people they send the link to.

4. Why we use it

• To create, host and manage collections and take contributions (contract).
• To provide the resulting gift card to the organiser (contract).
• To answer enquiries and give support (legitimate interests).
• To prevent fraud, money laundering and misuse (legal obligation, legitimate interests).
• To measure and improve the service where analytics are in use (consent).
• To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

5. Analytics

This website currently runs no analytics or advertising provider and sets no non-essential cookies, so no analytics or marketing data is transmitted from it. Attribution to this site travels in the link to GiftRound as a referral parameter, not in a cookie. Within the GiftRound collection journey, GiftRound may use cookies and analytics subject to the consent choices presented there. If we later add a non-essential analytics or marketing tool to this site, we will introduce consent and update this policy before it runs. See our Cookie Policy.

6. Payments and other providers

Payment processing for contributions is carried out by Ryft Pay Ltd trading as Ryft, acting as our payment services provider; Ryft's own privacy notice applies to the payment. Gift cards are provided via Tillo Limited, which processes the details needed to issue and redeem the card. We also use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, support and fraud prevention. They process personal data on our instructions under written agreements and may not use it for their own purposes.

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

Referral information is passed to GiftRound so collections started here can be attributed to this site. It contains no personal data.

7. How long we keep it

We keep basic information about our customers, including contact, identity, financial and transaction data, for six years after they stop being customers, as tax law requires. Other collection and contribution records are kept for as long as we need them to run the service. Support messages are kept for up to three years.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring and secure hosting. No system is completely secure, so please keep your account details and collection link private.

9. Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Ask us to delete data we no longer need.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Ask for a portable copy of data you provided.
• Withdraw consent at any time, including for non-essential cookies.

A parent or guardian can exercise these rights on behalf of their child. Email info@giftround.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

10. Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you have asked us to, every one has an unsubscribe link, and we never market to children. Opting out doesn't stop essential messages about a live collection.

11. Cookies

This website currently sets no non-essential cookies. Cookies and analytics may be used within the GiftRound collection journey, subject to the consent choices presented there. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
